As someone who knows from experience I can confirm the claim that trying to quit marijuana use can lead to things like irritability and trouble sleeping, in my case at least. However the fact that throughout my youth I regularly had trouble falling asleep BEFORE I ever tried marijuana needs to be considered first. I first tried it out of curiosity, but continued using it because I find sleep easier with it. Before you start lecturing about self-medication I'll tell you right now to save it. Frankly I'd rather deal the side affects of the herb (if any at all) over those warned about in the sleep medication commercials.

Another thing to consider here is something that would help things like irritability and trouble sleeping for individuals trying to quit smoking is something too many people don't get enough of anyway. Yep, you guessed it. Exercise!!! Run a mile or two and tell me if you have trouble sleeping at night. Were the subjects of this study exercising regularly?

Then we should consider how much more harmful and how many more toxins exist in many brands of cigarettes lately compared to reefer. In fact, here's a study for you: take 12 users of only alcohol, 12 users of only tobacco, and 12 users of only marijuana and see which group dies first.

p.s. Godfather, if you want some help with your grammar/spelling, mail me.

I can't speak for others, but I can say from personal experience that trouble sleeping may be a side affect from trying to stop using marijuana. However I've always had trouble falling asleep due to an active imagination/mind even before I ever tried it. I've always seen it as a better alternative to sleeping pills because I know I'm not going to experience some of the nasty potential side effects these medicines list, it's NATURAL, and it definitely helps me sleep.

Also, something that will help with irritability, anger and trouble sleeping for those who are trying to quit is something many people don't get enough of anyway. Yeah, that's right. EXERCISE! Go run (or walk) a mile or two and tell me if you have trouble sleeping that night.

As for comparing marijuana to cigarettes, how about a study involving 12 only marijuana smokers with only cigarette smokers, or better yet include alcohol drinkers, and see which group dies last from said usage.

What I like about organic foods is that produced accordingly to a certain production research standards, which means they were grown without the use of conventional pesticides, artificial fertilizers, human waste, or sewage sludge, and that they were processed without ionizing radiation or food additives. For meat and poultry products, cultured without the routine use of antibiotics and without the use of growth hormones.

Nice Post about Organic Food :D

"We've got a blog about nutrition, healthy eating, and health food too. It includes summaries of articles in the news, lists healthy recipes, offers tips and personal feedback on healthy eating, and reports on nutritional research."
